Without doubt the hardest selection for any of our range of Lyric T-shirts. Mozza wrote so many fantastic lyrics that we could have stuck a pin in a list and chosen any of them. Had Morrissey been born a century or so earlier we would be talking about him in the same terms as Keates or Wordsworth – but that’s cultural snobbery for you. Maybe in years to come your great-grandchildren will be studying The Smiths and Morrissey’s lyrics at school. Let’s hope so.
