Is Silence of the Lambs the finest horror film of them all? A bold claim, but not outrageous. Just look at all the elements that has and how it scores so much better than others that lay claim to the crown. Scary? Hell yeah. Believable? Yes. Jumpy? Yes, but never at the obvious times. Acting? Better than ANY other horror movie bar none. Script? Top notch. Original source? Immaculate. String of shite follow-ups? Sadly, it has those too.
