Paul Gilbert guitar hero T-shirt

I first took notice of Paul Gilbert in about 1991. I had gone to Hammersmith Odeon to see a band called The Throbs who were bottom of a bill topped by the supergroup, Mr Big of Billy Sheehan, Eric Martin and Paul Gilbert. Sadly The Throbs sucked that night and to be honest Mr Big were a bit on the dull side, however amongst it all I witnessed the amazing Paul Gilbert. Wow. A year earlier I had seen Steve Vai and thought I would never see such technique again (what with the real Van Halen still refusing to tour the UK). Paul Gilbert had me reassess.
