On the one hand we remember the 'Nutty Boys' video with a wistful air of nostalgia, on the other there was that time just a couple of years later when you realise what Madness's House Of Fun was all about. For me it came as I sidled into the chemist to buy my first 'something for the weekend' only to be greeted with a cheery "Can I Help You Son" from the assistant. The deja vu had me racking my brains before the penny dropped.... ahh, now I get it.... oh shit, did I really sing it to my Grandma at Christmas when she asked me what my favourite song was?
