Legend has it that when Keef was up in front of the beak on drugs charges, he called his doctor as a witness to confirm that even though the amount of Class A’s that the police confiscated was enough to keep your average touring funk band in orbit for at least a year, and therefore was enough to put him away on trafficking charges, it was in fact just a basic couple of days personal use stash for the Rolling Stones guitarist.
