There is no hiding that at BathroomWall we are predominantly a bunch of gnarly old rockers, so for us to wave the white flag in the face to such overwhelming genius and acknowledge what the jazz world has known for year, that John Coltrane is every bit as vital as a Jimmy Page or a Mick Jagger takes some doing. Maybe when you grow up listening to 'Trane you take it for granted, but to discover it late after a lifetime of guitar distortion is a joy that I thank you for letting us share in. I will certainly be wearing my John Coltrane T-shirt with pride.
