Frank Zappa T-shirt

It is easy for those that don't appreciate Frank Zappa to dismiss him as merely the father of strangely named kids; writer of weird music and of course the inspiration for Ritchie Blackmore to write Smoke On The Water. Yes, he did write some deliberately challenging music that frankly, I don't always entirely get, but with a back catalogue as vast as Frank Zappa's, there is seemingly always something different to discover from jazz to heavy rock. We should also remember him for his eloquent attack on Tipper Gore and the PMRC (youtube his senate address and appearance on Nightmatch)
