What do you remember from Live Aid? Other than Bob Geldof swearing on primetime TV, there were two acts that shone brighter than all others. Two acts whose front men were so far beyond the rest and had such a sense of occasion that only they knew what could truly be achieved artistically. One of course was Queen's Freddie Mercury, while the other was the singer for a still relatively unknown band from Dublin. Freddie had already made his mark on the world, but that day a young, mulletted Irishman dived into the crowd and gave the world a glimpse of just what was about to come.
