When you look at the sheer number of Blues Brothers tribute acts and the fact that every time there is a charity telethon event you can be sure that a bunch of newsreaders will sing Someone To Love bedecked in Raybans and black suit/hat combos. But even with that level of potential embarrassment, The Blues Brothers still stands up a brilliant movie, and the seriously rare beast, that is spin-off movie from a TV comedy skit. So hard to believe that even with the charms of Jake and Elwood, that the Blues Brothers was such as flop on release. But hey, since when did the public know anything.
