Aleister Crowley

Do any of us really care what Crowley actually did? There are more myths about the man than there are truths. Satanist, hedonist, bi-sexual and being the author of a book called ‘Diary of a Drug Fiend’ make him sound intriguing. Yet poet, chess player and astrologer are less alluring. Either way, all most of us care about are the facts that Ozzy wrote a great song about him, that he was on the cover of Sgt. Pepper and that Jimmy Page thought he was cool – which is enough for me.
