Once upon a time, Aerosmith were America's greatest ever rock band, snorting half of Peru, knocking up Playboy models & recording some of the greatest albums to have ever found their way onto vinyl. Let's remember those times rather than dwelling on American Idol, that f*cking horrible meteor song or outrageous ticket prices. Mid-70s Aerosmith were pure magic. Steven Tyler was a genuine rock god, Joe Perry & Brad Whitford were the coolest guitarists alive whilst Tom & Joey were the tightest rhythm section out there. Debut, Wings, Toys, Line... all amazing, but Rocks is my favourite & Back In The Saddle one of my Desert Island Discs.
