I don’t know about you, but Adam and the Ants changed my life. As a little boy I saw Adam Ant on Top of the Pops and was awestruck. While the rest of the charts in the early 80s was full of throw away nonsense and dodgy New Romantics, Adam and the Ants were real musicians, playing music that I had never heard before, while Adam Ant himself looked sensational and had me raiding my mum’s make-up bag to find something to make a white stripe across my nose with. As for Adam Ant’s off-stage issues, if more people read Stand and Deliver then maybe our society would have a better understanding of mental health. Adam Ant is my hero and that is why I LOVE this Adam & the Ants T-shirt
